Why no reviews???

To my four followers the reason to why I haven’t been reviewing is cause I’m moving and been to damn lazy, I wish there are more followers more motivation I guess……

The Music Industry… my thoughts

Let’s face it anyone can steal music off the internet, but if they’re not bought with any packaging or art work… it’s to late.  I’ve been listening to music practically my entire life, my first concert was Red Hot Chilly Pepper in my moms tummy. I listen to it every day, there’s an endless supply of music to be heard and found but there’s not an endless supply of people, people like the ones who truly care… care for an industry that’s healthy and ours is not.  There is nothing, all you gotta do is go to the mall an get the top 50 spoon fed garbage that the mass media, corporate America record industry SHOVES DOWN THE THROAT OF CONSUMERS, and no one even realizes they are being suckered into the bullshit that they call music. the music you want and need is interesting and stimulates your mind

New to the collection, but not going to review just yet! : D

Chapter 1:
It’s the early 80’s you sitting at your favorite cafe with a girl you’ve liked since high school, sippin’ on a chocolate milkshake together, juke box rockin, cute girls waiting tables in their skates.  You stare into your girl’s eye’s, she stares back into your’s, you both lean in for a kiss.  Just as your lips are about to touch, “Stray Cats: Rock this town from the album Built for Speed” pops on!  Oh Yeah, that’s what I’m talkin’ about!
That’s right first up is the Stray Cats: Built for speed this early 80’s 3 piece rockabilly band, was the pop of that era with kids.  Brian Setzer: Strummin’ and Croonin’ Slim Jim Phantom: bangin’ and Yellin Lee Rocker: Slappin’ and Howlin’.  I have to say none the less these guy’s still rock to this day even tho they are no longer called Stray Cats, Brian Setzer and his orchestra still play a few of the old Stray Cat tunes such as Rock this town.  Enough of history that’s boring stuff, back to the music.  This album will have you snapping your fingers, tapping your shoes practically all the way through this is a rockin’ album.  Built for speed is their Junior album released in 1982 and made #2 in US charts.  I have two favorite songs on this album and I’ll all ways dust it off to listen to them “Rock This Town” and “Stray Cat Strut.” I picked this little gem up at one of my favorite little record store “Respin Records” for $8, but I’m you can find it anywhere on the internet and give it a listen cause I highly recommend it!
Till next time you cool cats.
